Program Description

The STRA lacrosse program is a fun based skills clinic, similar to Speed Lax. Lacrosse encompasses skills used in soccer, hockey, basketball and tennis. This program will help achieve multi-sport athleticism.

This is not a full field competitive program. Boys and girls ages 5-18 are invited to participate. We will meet weekly on Friday nights and engage in light teaching followed by games, games and more games. Participants will learn the game by playing. There will be small teams which will play quick games on 3 small fields (beginner, intermediate & advanced). Co-ed teams will be determined week to week and team changes throughout the night are expected.

Participants will be provided with a t-shirt, but uniforms are not required. The following equipment is necessary for each player and must be purchased individually:

Mouthpiece
Protective eyewear/goggles
Athletic cup for males
Lacrosse stick
Optional: cleats
