Southampton Softball Program – Spring & Fall Seasons
STRA is committed to offering a supportive, instructional, and fun environment for players of all skill levels in grades 2-8.
Spring Softball Season:
- Open to players in grades 2nd - 8th
- Season Dates: Late March through Memorial Day
- Practices begin mid-March (weather permitting) and are held two weekday nights
- Games begin in April
- Each player receives a team jersey, belt and socks
Fall Softball Season:
This is a causal softball experience designed to stay active during the fall
- Open to players in grades 2nd - 8th
- Season Dates: September - October
- There will be an optional (non-mandatory) practice once a week
- 1 - 2 games per week
- Each player receives a team shirt
Equipment:
- softball glove
- bat
- batting helmet
- softball pants
- cleats
- Catcher’s gear is provided for each team
